U.S. Army Reserve Dietitian/Nutrition Care Specialist served as part of the medical COVID-19 response effort in Detroit
Capt. Carla Schuit mobilized March 26, 2020, as part of Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force 801-2 as the Dietitian/Nutrition Care Specialist and was coined by Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Charles D. Luckey, former Chief of the U.S. Army Reserve, for her role in developing the processes to provide clinical assessment, reassessment, and care for COVID-19 patients.
