TF Baltic Phoenix provides flight transport for Latvian CASEVAC exercise

Members of the Latvian Zemessardze or National Guard 45th Logistics Battalion, remove a volunteer patient from a military ambulance in a field at Kuldiga Hospital in Kuldiga, Latvia, May 27. The unit participates in an scenario-based exercise which aids hospitals and the national guard units into responding to emergencies. The volunteer patients are cared for by first responders, medical personnel, local national guard and fire department members before being driven to a collection point and unloaded for flight transportation by U.S. Soldiers. The U.S. Soldiers are from 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, currently in Leilvarde Air Base, Latvia, to support Operation Atlantic Resolve, which is a U.S. -led endeavor to fulfill the U.S. commitment to NATO by rotating throughout Europe and training alongside NATO Allies and partners.
