PROFIS mission provides needed medical support at home and abroad

Sgt. 1st Class Luis Pagan, a practical nursing specialist (far right) assigned to Army Medical Department Professional Management Command (APMC), and Maj. Ausha Partido, the mobilization officer for Western Medical Area Readiness Support Group (middle), are assisting U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 7452nd Medical Backfill Battalion who have been identified to prepare for a Professional Filler System (PROFIS) mission. Soldiers mobilized to support this mission will backfill Medical Command’s active duty slots at medical centers and clinics across their health care organization. APMC hosted the Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) level 2 from 7-9 Jul., processing approximately 100 U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 7452nd MBB during the 3-day event. The objective of the process is for Soldiers to be administratively, financially, legally, spiritually, logistically and medically ready to be mobilized after attending an SRP.
