SAN DIEGO (Jan. 25, 2024) – Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Holly Glon, a native of Mishawaka, Indiana, and assigned to Fleet Surgical Team 5, seals the sleeve of Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Emma Jones, a native of Laguna Hills, California, assigned to USS Boxer (LHD 4) during biological warfare confirmatory detection training in the ship’s medical lab. This training is intended to enhance Boxer’s ability to properly handle samples from suspected biological attacks and to provide accurate, expedited results to best preserve the health and readiness of shipboard personnel.
