NMRC Marks 80 Years of Supporting Service Members through Research and Development
SILVER SPRING, Md. (Oct. 27, 2022) – Lt. Cmdr. Chaselynn Watters presents accomplishments of Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC)’s Biological Defense Research Directorate to staff of the National Museum of Health and Medicine during the NMRC 80th birthday celebration. The event highlighted NMRC’s contributions to military health and included representation from across the Naval Medical Research & Development enterprise, including Naval Health Research Center, Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory, Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU)-Dayton, NAMRU-San Antonio, NAMRU-2, NAMRU-3 and NAMRU-6.
