Medical lab technicians in Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune’s blood donor center, D'Anthony Green and Jeanne Carter, defrost frozen blood in preparation for an upcoming surgery. Green, who is also a retired hospital corpsman, has worked in the blood donor center since 2004. "When I was in Iraq, I saw firsthand how blood products like this save lives.
