NH Jax well-child check-up

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 17, 2017) – Lt. Allison Wessner, a pediatrician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, conducts a check-up with a two-month-old and her mother. Parents should bring children in for a check-up in the first month of life, and at 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 months of age, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. Check-ups track growth and development, prevent illness with immunizations, and answer parents’ questions. (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
