Navy Medicine at Navy Weeks Houston
161020-N-PG340-002 HOUSTON (Oct. 20, 2016) During his two-day visit to Houston for Navy Week Oct. 20-21, Rear Adm. Kenneth Iverson, commander, Navy Medicine East (NME), met with Kelly Land, executive director of Combined Arms, and several of his staff as well as a few collaborative partner organizations focused on empowering and assisting vets so they are better positioned to make positive economic contributions in the greater Houston area. NME is one of two regional commands that manage Navy Medicine's global health care network by overseeing the delivery of medical, dental and other health care services to approximately one million patients across almost 100 facilities.
