Naval Hospital Bremerton reminds everyone this is flu season

Shot on ... During Naval Hospital Bremerton's Preventive Medicine annual Influenza Vaccination Shot Exercise (SHOTEX) in early November, they supplied 3,882 vaccinations for five extended days, averaging 776 people a day during that time – either by FluMist or injectable vaccine (shot). NHB's Immunization Clinic has also handled an additional 2,200 from mid-Nov to mid-January. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers the flu season to generally start in October and linger until May, with the peak months December to February (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz).
