Maj. (P) Steven S. Hong, M.D. currently serves as the Chief of Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and an assistant professor of surgery at Uniformed Services University (USU) of the Health Sciences. Hong was recently selected as the 2020 recipient of the AMSUS 2020’s Top Military Physician Award for his efforts in the invention of the Covid-19 Airway Management Isolation Chamber (CAMIC).
