Hand hygiene heroes recognized in homage to antisepsis pioneer

1st Lt. Briana Hoffer, Registered Nurse and infection control unit coordinator, Surgical Ward, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, “gels out” as part of routine hand hygiene practice at WBAMC, July 24. WBAMC led other Military Treatment Facilities of its size in the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) in patient perception of healthcare providers practicing hand hygiene during inpatient treatment for the second quarter of fiscal year 2018, according to TRICARE Inpatient Satisfaction Surveys (TRISS).
