Cav Soldier receives Purple Heart
Col. Matthew Van Wagenen, commander of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, pins Sgt. Darik Stevens, a former mechanic with the 215th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd ABCT, with a Purple Heart Jan. 22 at Fort Hood, Texas.
