Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Military Manpower and Personnel) Visits Naval Medical Center San Diego
SAN DIEGO (Feb. 14, 2024) Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Military Manpower and Personnel) Ms. Lisa Truesdale is greeted by Rear Adm. Guido Valdes, Commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific, and Director of the Defense Health Network Pacific Rim (DHNPR) and Capt. Elizabeth Adriano, director of Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command San Diego (NMRTCSD) commanding officer, during a visit to the medical center. As part of her portfolio, Truesdale is responsible for health care policy, including the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES), which is managed by NMCSD/NMRTCSD staff.
