Ranger school: Medical Service Corps personnel handle the challenge
1st Lt. Rachel Bohnemann (a Medical Service Corps 70 Bravo) now has Ranger as well as Army Medicine “pride in the patch.” Recently, two Medical Service Corps personnel completed Ranger training and earned the Ranger tab: Capt. Leyla Kosakowski (a 72 Delta) and 1st Lt. Bohnemann. Ranger School is one of the toughest training courses for which a Soldier can volunteer. It is described as “a great training experience; “you get a lot out of it from leadership and resiliency perspectives;” and “you can push it to further limits than you thought possible. That is part of the goal of Ranger School — not only pushing yourself to the limit and beyond, but (pushing) the squad and platoon as a leader. It prepares you.” (Courtesy asset)
