Soldiers aid LRMC efforts amid OAW
U.S. Army Maj. Regina Velasco, an obstetrics nurse assigned to Bassett Army Community Hospital, Fort Wainwright, Alaska, and native of O'ahu, Hawaii, provides treats to children at currently housed at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Sept. 22. Velasco is one of more than 50 Army Medicine personnel from across the United States who are augmenting Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in support of ongoing medical operations as part of Operation Allies Welcome.
