A living representation of the Combat Medic Memorial Statue takes center stage during the Expert Field Medical Badge presentation ceremony May 10 in the Fort Riley training area. Twenty-four 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley Soldiers earned the EFMB following two weeks of testing and training. The original Combat Medic Memorial Statue stands in front of the U.S. Army Medical Department Museum, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, as a permanent reminder of the bravery and skill that have saved many lives on battlefields across the globe.
