NMOTC trains first Navy R2LM team
NORFOLK (July 27, 2017)- Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Sean Miles briefs students on a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) during the Navy's first Role 2 Light Maneuver course at the Center for Security Forces Learning Site Little Creek Waterborne Security Schoolhouse. The objective of the pilot course, being held at Surface Warfare Medical Institute (SWMI) East, a detachment of Navy Medicine Operational Training Center, is to build a mobile unit equipped to set up a functioning medical area with advanced trauma life support capabilities.
