Defense Centers for Public Health – Aberdeen, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground South, hosted more than 500 staff, guests and officials April 5, 2023, for a ribbon-cutting launching the new 280,000-square-foot Public Health Laboratory, which took eight years to complete and cost around $248 million.
