3rd Fleet Sailors visit Portland VA Hospital

(June 10, 2016) – Mineman 3rd Class Justin Spangler, a Bristol, Virginia, native stationed aboard USS Champion (MCM 4) shares sea stories with Raymond Eastin, a Vietnam Era U.S. Navy beach master, during a community relations visit to the Veteran's Affairs Portland Health Care System during Rose Festival Fleet Week. The festival and Portland Fleet Week are a celebration of the sea services with Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen from the U.S. and Canada making the city a port of call.
